Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on which website or product you use and how you interact with it.

• Contact information such as your name, email address, company, and message when you contact us or submit a contact or account-deletion form.
• Account information such as name, email address, login credentials, organization or team details, and subscription or entitlement status when you create an account for an account-based CKP product.
• Google account information such as your name, email address, Google account identifier, and OAuth authentication details, if you choose to sign in with Google or connect a Google account to a CKP product that offers that option. We request only the Google profile fields needed for sign-in; we do not rely on storing a Google profile image as part of the Flat Rate Tracker account record.
• Product data you choose to enter, which varies by product (for example work orders, vehicles, VINs, mileage, photos, pay settings, tool inventory, estimates, contracts, invoices, notes, or study activity).
• Usage and device information such as browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, app activity, error logs, and approximate location derived from your connection, where those features are enabled for the product or website.
• Billing and purchase information handled through payment providers and app stores. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Flat Rate Tracker

Flat Rate Tracker is the account-based Flat Rate Tracker product that syncs work records across the web, iOS, and Android when you are signed in. It is separate from Flat Rate Tracker One.

• Account and authentication data, including email address, password credentials (stored using secure hashing practices), and optional Google or Apple sign-in identifiers and related emails when you choose those methods.
• Work and business data you enter, such as work orders, repair order numbers, jobs, flagged hours and adjustments, Saved Jobs, vehicle details, VINs, mileage, advisor fields, tags, notes, photos and attachments, Scan RO images and extracted draft fields, PayTrack settings and pay-period information, ToolTrack inventory details, and Team membership or invitation information where those features are used.
• Cloud synchronization and storage of the account data needed to provide the service across your signed-in devices (application database hosting and object storage for photos and Scan RO source files).
• Scan RO processing may send repair-order images to cloud vision providers used by the product (currently including Google Vertex AI with temporary Google Cloud Storage staging, object storage on Cloudflare R2, and optional Cloudflare Workers AI as a configured rollback path). Short-term diagnostic retention of source imagery may occur for troubleshooting failed scans. Always review extracted drafts before saving.
• If you use Team features, certain operational work-order details (such as repair order number, date, description, vehicle information, and hours) may be visible to Team owners or managers according to product role rules. Pay and earnings details and photos are not shared through those Team reporting views.
• If you enable FRT Connect API access, work-order and related data you authorize (which may include VINs and photos) can be accessed by systems that use your API credentials.
• Subscription and entitlement information associated with Solo, Pro, or Team plans, including trial status where applicable, plus billing identifiers from Stripe, Apple, or Google as applicable.
• Billing processing through Stripe for web subscriptions, Apple StoreKit for App Store subscriptions, and Google Play Billing for Google Play subscriptions. Full payment card numbers are handled by those providers, not stored as complete card numbers on CKP servers.
• Transactional email (for example verification, password reset, invitations, and billing-related notices) is sent through our email provider (Brevo).
• Product analytics and error telemetry are collected in Flat Rate Tracker’s own backend for operation, security, and improvement. The web and native apps may also use Google Analytics when configured. Event designs are intended to avoid free-text repair-order content in analytics payloads.
• You may delete your account and associated synced records through in-product account deletion flows or by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required for legal, billing, security, backup, feedback, operations telemetry, or legitimate business purposes. Team-owned organization records are not removed solely because a non-owner member deletes their personal account. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are managed in those stores and are not necessarily canceled solely by deleting a Flat Rate Tracker account.

Flat Rate Tracker One

Flat Rate Tracker One is a separate offline, one-time-purchase app. It does not require a Flat Rate Tracker account for day-to-day use and does not sync work history with the account-based Flat Rate Tracker product.

• Work orders and related records are stored locally on your device (for example, in an on-device SQLite database). Flat Rate Tracker One does not use the Flat Rate Tracker cloud API for day-to-day work data.
• You may create a manual backup/export file from the app (Data & Backup) and restore from a previous backup file you control.
• Android OS Auto Backup, device-to-device transfer, iCloud Backup, Quick Start, or similar platform migration features may include local app data when those features are enabled and the data is eligible. Eligibility depends on operating system settings, quotas, encryption capabilities, and available backup data. Automatic restoration is not guaranteed.
• Flat Rate Tracker One is distributed as a paid app through Apple or Google. Purchase processing and any store-level restoration follow Apple’s or Google’s rules for that store account. The app does not upload your work history to CKP for purchase verification.
• Uninstalling the app, clearing app storage, losing a device, or restoring a backup that does not include local app data may permanently erase locally stored records. CKP cannot restore device-only Flat Rate Tracker One data from a cloud work account because no such sync account is provided for One.
• Native platform SDKs, store clients, and operating-system services required to run the app may transmit technical information under Apple’s or Google’s practices even though day-to-day work data is stored locally. This Privacy Policy does not claim that no technical information ever leaves the device.

FRT Prep

FRT Prep is a native iOS and Android ASE study application from CKP. It is designed as an offline-first study experience and does not require a CKP or Flat Rate Tracker account. FRT Prep is upcoming; some purchase features described below are planned and may not be available until the app launches publicly.

• Study content, lesson completion, practice answers, exam results, mistake history, and in-progress sessions are stored locally on your device (for example, in the app’s on-device database). CKP does not currently operate a cloud sync service for FRT Prep personal study history.
• Optional certification unlocks are intended as one-time in-app purchases processed by Apple or Google when those products are offered. Entitlement status may be verified through RevenueCat so the app can restore purchases associated with your store account. Purchase records are handled by Apple, Google, and those commerce providers under their own terms and privacy policies.
• The app may contact CKP’s over-the-air (OTA) update infrastructure to check for and download app content or web-bundle updates. That process may involve technical information needed to deliver updates securely (such as device/app identifiers used by the update service). OTA updates are for software delivery, not for syncing your study answers to a CKP account.
• FRT Prep’s native app configuration currently disables first-party analytics and crash-reporting sinks in the app. If those features are enabled in a future release, or if platform SDKs transmit diagnostic information, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe that practice.
• The FRT Prep marketing website (prep.flatratetracker.com) uses Google Analytics 4 in production to measure page views and basic interaction events (such as store or outbound link clicks). That marketing analytics configuration is separate from the native app and does not enable first-party analytics inside the iOS or Android app.
• Removing the app, clearing app storage, losing a device, or restoring from a backup that does not include local app data may permanently erase locally stored study progress. CKP cannot restore device-local FRT Prep progress from a cloud study account because no such study account sync is provided today.

CKP Capital Marketing Website

This website (gockp.com) provides company information, product overviews, contact forms, and centralized legal documents.

• If you submit the contact or account-deletion form, we collect the name, email address, company (optional), product selection, request type, and message you provide, and we deliver that message using our email provider (Brevo) to our support inbox.
• The site may use cookies, local storage, and ordinary hosting/server logs needed to serve pages, remember preferences, or understand basic site usage.
• We do not use this website to sell advertising based on your personal information. Do not assume third-party advertising pixels are present unless this policy is updated to describe them.
• Links to product websites and app stores are external; those destinations have their own practices.

How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, secure, and improve CKP websites and products.
• To create and manage accounts, subscriptions, trials, billing status, and product access for account-based products.
• To save and display the data you enter into our products, including cloud sync where a product provides it.
• To respond to support requests, product questions, contact form submissions, and account-deletion requests.
• To monitor performance, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and protect users and systems where telemetry is enabled.
• To send important account, product, security, billing, or legal notices.
• For offline apps such as Flat Rate Tracker One and FRT Prep, to deliver app updates and recognize store purchase entitlements where those features are enabled.

Google OAuth and Google User Data

Some CKP products may let you sign in with Google or connect a Google account through Google OAuth. If you choose to use those features, we request only the Google permissions needed to provide the feature you selected. Flat Rate Tracker One and FRT Prep do not use Google sign-in for day-to-day use.

• For Google sign-in, we may receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, Google account identifier, and authentication tokens needed to keep you signed in.
• If a CKP product adds optional Google integrations, we will use Google user data only to provide or improve the visible user-facing feature you authorized.
• We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, transfer it to advertising platforms or data brokers, or use it to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility.
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data except with your consent for support, when necessary for security, abuse investigation, or legal compliance, or when the data is aggregated and used for internal operations.
• CKP use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Ownership

You retain ownership of the business, customer, document, job, work order, vehicle, and other product data you enter. For Flat Rate Tracker One and FRT Prep, your local activity remains on your device except as needed for store purchase verification and software updates described above. We do not sell that data, and we do not provide it to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

Sharing Information

We share information only when needed to run our business and products.

• With service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, support, bill for, email, store objects, run cloud AI features, or deliver updates to our websites and products (examples used by current products include MongoDB hosting, Google Cloud / App Engine, Cloudflare, Brevo, Stripe, Apple, Google Play, Google Analytics, Google Vertex AI, and RevenueCat where configured).
• When required by law, legal process, or a valid government request.
• To protect CKP, our users, our products, or others from fraud, abuse, security threats, or misuse.
• As part of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.
• When you authorize a third party through product features such as FRT Connect API keys, Team membership, or store/account providers you choose to use.

Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, local storage, and analytics to keep websites and products working, remember preferences, understand usage, and improve performance. Flat Rate Tracker and its marketing site may use first-party product telemetry and Google Analytics when configured. The FRT Prep marketing website (prep.flatratetracker.com) uses Google Analytics 4 in production for page views and basic interaction events; the FRT Prep native app’s current configuration does not enable a first-party analytics product sink. We do not use the CKP Capital marketing website to sell advertising based on your personal information. Flat Rate Tracker One does not send work-history analytics to the Flat Rate Tracker cloud API.

Security

• We use HTTPS encryption in transit for CKP websites and cloud-backed product APIs.
• Passwords are stored using secure hashing practices where accounts are supported.
• Access to production systems and databases is limited to people and services that need it.
• No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to protect information using reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide products, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain business records. You may contact us to request account or data deletion for account-based CKP products, or use in-product deletion where available. You may also revoke a CKP product's access to your Google account through your Google Account permissions. For Flat Rate Tracker One and FRT Prep, you can clear local data in the app or by uninstalling the app / clearing app storage on your device. Some information may be retained where required for legal, billing, security, backup, or legitimate business purposes.

Children

CKP products, including FRT Prep study materials for automotive technicians, are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our products, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will show when the policy was last updated.
